File Share – this feature allows agents and customers to share information over the air with one another. These files are not stored in any repository or database and cannot be recalled for whatever reason provided. Files may include but is not limited to; Images, video files, PDF, spreadsheets, text documents and so forth. The agents and customers share these document on their own terms and do so willingly and at their own risk. LOR cannot be held liable for any incorrect information shared or any attachment deemed damaging or harmful. It remains the responsibility of the agents and customers to use these tools responsibly.

Video Chat – The customer may select to switch the standard text chat to a video chat available within the LOR chat window. The customer and agent will be responsible to use this feature in a professional and respectful manner. LOR Technologies (Pty) Ltd will not be held liable for the miss use by either party.

Click To Call – The Click To Call feature allows the customer to switch the text chat to a telephone conversation. This feature is contained within the LOR Technologies (Pty) Ltd chat window. The customer can click on the option and provide a telephone number that will directly route a telephone call to the agent that the customer was engaging with via text, through an automated Telephone API. All normal telephone cost apply to the customer and agent for the area/region/country that they reside in. All Local and International call rates will apply as per the customer and agent’s provider’s agreement.

This information is provided out of free will and will only be used by LOR Technologies automated systems to connect a telephone call directly to the agent at the responsible shop/outlet/office/merchant/and other as displayed on the agent’s website. LOR Technologies (Pty) Ltd do not store any of this personal information provided and cannot be recalled for whatever reason provided.

Call me Back – The call me back feature allows the customer to request an agent to contact them back in the event that an agent is not available to accept a chat. The customer has the choice of providing their telephone number or email address or both for the agent to receive an email notification to call the customer back.

This information is provided out of free will and will only be used by LOR Technologies automated systems to provide the contact details directly to the sales agent at the responsible shop/outlet/office/merchant/and other as displayed on the agents website. LOR Technologies (Pty) Ltd do not store any of this personal information provided and cannot be recalled for whatever reason provided.

Translate – LOR Technologies (Pty) Ltd makes use of third party plug in for the website translator for text chats to be translated between agent and the customer. These technologies are not 100% accurate in recognising grammatical or spelling errors which might from time to time translate words and sentences in an inaccurate manner. LOR Technologies (Pty) Ltd will not be held liable for any grammatical and spelling errors made by agents or customers alike where the translation has resulted in the wrong message being conveyed. LOR Technologies (Pty) Ltd will endeavour to always provide the latest technologies available to enhance and improve on the current translation services.

This Website is provided "as is," with all faults, and LOR Technologies (Pty) Ltd express no representations or warranties, of any kind related to this Website or the materials contained on this Website. Also, nothing contained on this Website shall be interpreted as advising you.

LOR Technologies (Pty) Ltd do not scrape or gather any personal information and therefore do not store any personal information. The only personal information required by LOR Technologies (Pty) Ltd is an email address when the user requests an transcript of the conversation held with an Agent, or a telephone number and email address and when a customer requests an agent to either call or email them back though the CALL ME BACK feature.

Any personal information shared during a chat with an agent is done so willingly and by the owner of that information.

The information shared with an Agent is also to be protected under the terms and conditions of the Agents Company as a legal business entity within the borders of the country that that business entity resides in.

LOR Technologies (Pty) Ltd provides the Live Online Retail product as a sales enabler between seller and buyer and cannot be held liable for the actions of the seller and buyer during an engagement and has no control over what personal information is being shared by either party.
